Experiencing the Grandeur of nature at its best – this was a breathtaking view of the Grand Canyon from its South Rim…  Shot with my generic 18 -200mm lens, (yes, I’ve since gotten away from the generics and stuck to Canon lenses )…

Nevertheless, this shot sure captures the supreme natural valley and makes you want to sit on the ledge for hours on end..

Bat~man…Bat~man… That was the theme that started playing in my head when I came across this. Naturally, it had to be immortalized on to my disk!

Formations of ice create such fancy and picturesque images. I came across this ice formation one next to a cave formation in the mountains – hence Ice Bat!

Continuing the series of waterfalls here…

I set out to capture just the sheet of ice but quickly realized as I was composing the shot that the water mixed in with it would give the necessary drama to the image. To make the waterfall appear like a sheet of water right next to the sheet of ice, I decided to shoot the waterfall at a slower shutter speed of 0.5 sec and at ISO-100 for a overcast day!

Central Park in NYC.!

It was a gorgeous summer afternoon and there I was experimenting with my recently acquired 70-300 lens taking in shots around the park. Thats where I found this lady engrossed in her phone and oblivious to the world passing by!

I found this waterfall and many others on our favorite Hiking trail in Pennsylvania on a warmer-January morning.  A cloudy morning was the perfect setting for this shot. A snow-drought hardly stopped the amount of water coming down this one. Ever fascinated by this type of capture, I like this look of the image as if a veil of water that is coming down the hills.

I shot this at slower shutter speed of 0.5 s and at ISO 100.

Longwood Gardens in December features so many varieties of flowers and Christmas Decorations! This one was taken on a macro photography workshop at the Longwood Gardens on the Christmas path. Other than the flowers found so many other inspiring objects. The stunning Christmas trees and the ornaments adorned by the trees, the wondrous Orchid room and much, much more!

Here, I have captured the Amaryllis through a 100 mm macro lens set at f 5.6 and ISO 100.

Reflections bring out so much character in an image… Much like the concept of where Lotuses are found.  Such beauty found among such murky waters…!

This is why the Lotus is such a characteristic representation of good within evil!

Watching sunsets is one of the favorite things to do whenever I’m out and about on a vacation.. This magical sunset in Hawaii is exactly what was needed to complete a perfect day!

Corridors in old castles are mysterious and hold many untold stories… Such is this corridor that I found, on a recent trip to Delhi (India)… This is a castle of the King Akbar and it houses several such mysterious hallways..

Of course back in the day, these were adorned with jewels and gold trimmings, yet today it stands a testament to the King and his stories, and basks in the charms of the years gone by!

Red Roses!! Anyone would just be drawn to them..  The Summit arboretum is one such place.  It has a lovely rose garden with blooms  of various colors all throughout the summer!
